ORDERING MATTERS

How do I go about placing an order

  1. Browse and look through our products available.
  2. Find the product and the quantity and click ‘Add to Cart’, you may continue browsing other products.
  3. Once you have completed your purchases, click ‘Check Out’ to confirm your order.
  4. Login to your existing account or sign up for a new account to proceed.
  5. You may choose your delivery method upon logging into or creating your new account.
  6. Once your order is confirmed you will receive a confirmation email and/or a confirmation call from us.
  7. In order for us to secure the prices of your purchases we will need you to make payment within the same working day, to assist us further, please send us the receipt of your payment to sales@bullionmint.com.sg

What do I need to prepare before coming for self-collection?

Please bring along the confirmation receipt along with your NRIC / FIN card or passport for verification purposes.

 

Is delivery service available on my purchases?

Delivery service is available at an extra cost of $25 and we will get your products delivered to you within 1 to 3 business days.

 

What are the returns & exchange policy? 

Here at Bullion Mint Singapore, the satisfaction of our customers is our priority, we ensure our products are in good condition, thereby we do not provide refunds or exchanges, customers are required to check and verified upon receiving the items to ensure no defects or damage of goods.

Please Note: Losses incurred on your purchase is the liability of the customers, Bullion Mint Singapore will not return any market gains made on the products.

 

Can I change my pre-existing orders if prices were to change?

All orders and sales are final, and an invoice will be dated, hence no changes may be made.

What is Bullion Mint Singapore preferred payment method?

Our preferred method of payment is through a bank transfer to our UOB Current Account. However, we will also accept payment through cash, cheque or NETs.

Payment Terms & Policies

For online orders, our preferred method of payment is through a bank transfer to our UOB Current Account. However, we will also accept payment through cash, cheque or NETs (NETs terminal at our main office / showroom or at our roadshow events, refer to our roadshow schedule at our announcement page.

B.     Payment via Bank Transfer

Important note: Every orders placed online have to go through human verification by a confirmation call to our sales representative at (65) 9781 8351 to confirm order placed with us before you proceed payment. This is to ensure the order is valid before any execution of payment.

Upon placing an order, we require the full payment to be made immediately on the time of purchase to our bank account; our bank details are as follows:

As cheque clearance take 1 working day to clear and the cut off time is before 3pm, we expect prompt payment to secure your order for any gold and silver bullion purchase.

Payment via Cash


Full payment is required to be paid via cash payment upon delivery or self-collection.


Important Note: We do not encourage cash payment for S$10,000 and above, all payment are encouraged to be made to us via Bank Transfer, NETs, Cheque or via Credit Card.


Our company will strictly comply to MAS ruling.

For cash payment of S$10,000 and above, please complete the International Bullion Mint AML-CFT Agreement v1.0.pdf form and necessary compliance documents as stated in the form and e-mail to sales@bullionmint.com.sg

 Please Note: Full payment is required for Cheque and Bank Transfer payment immediately on the time of purchase to secure your order with our supplier and to lock-in the gold or silver price. We will proceed to lock-in gold and silver prices on the day funds are received. Any payment not made within the same day will be cancelled without further notice and the customer will be subjected our admin fee of $50 plus market loss fee.

Market Loss Policy

If gold or silver price increase from the time you place your order by end of the same day, the difference will be the market loss fee.

Example:

1) You purchased 10g at $700 on 1 August 2014, 1:00 PM SGT.
2) If the price of 10g you purchased go up to $750 by end of the day 1 August 2014, 11:59 PM SGT,  the market loss to our Company will be $50.
3) If the price drop to $650, Bullion Mint Singapore deem the rights to keep the difference.

 

Does Bullion Mint Singapore follow strictly on MAS ruling (Anti-Money Laundering / Countering the Financing of Terrorism)?

 Yes, our company strictly follow MAS ruling and compliance requirements. We do not encourage cash payment for S$10,000 and above, all payment are encouraged to be made to us via Bank Transfer, NETs, Cheque or via Credit Card. For cash payment of S$10,000 and above, we require our clients to complete the Bullion Mint Singapore AML-CFT Agreement v1.0.pdf form and necessary compliance documents as stated in the form and e-mail to sales@bullionmint.com.sg

We guarantee that all our products are genuine and authentic as we only procure from trusted sources and all our products come with a ‘certificate of authenticity’ to verify its quality. We do not trade or deal with counterfeit gold or silver products.

 

Why bullion and coins priced higher than the current spot price?

Physical metals are priced at a premium compared to the actual spot price, due to the costs involved with refining and minting them.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS & TAX MATTERS

Are there any additional taxes payable on your products?

From 1st October 2012, products classified as Investment Precious Metals (IPM) are exempted from the Singapore’s government 7% GST charge. In accordance to this ruling, any of our product which are classified as IPM are hence GST-free, please visit http://www.iras.gov.sg for more information.

 

Who can export tax-free bullion (gold and silver) outside Singapore?

  • Only non-Singaporean customers are eligible to place their orders for exporting out of Singapore. Singaporeans / Permanent residents (PR) / Employment Pass holders are not allowed to place their orders under this scheme but can be a carrier on behalf of customers to bring the tax-free bullion out of Singapore.
  • The carrier or carrying agent – the person physically bringing the bullion out of Singapore – can be the customer or any designated agent / representative of the customer (Singaporean or non-Singaporean).
  • The person carrying the physical bullion (gold or silver) out of Singapore (carrier) must be 16 years old of age or above at the time of presenting the bullion to Singapore Customs.

Do I need to pay import tax at my destination country? 

Please check with the respective agency of your destination country on its taxation laws.

 

Does Bullion Mint Singapore accept International orders?

We do accept International orders; please contact us directly to make arrangements for your purchases and also shipping rates.

 

What are the preferred methods of payment for International orders?

We only accept direct bank transfer (bank wired) for International orders.
